Vintage Selection 45
“LINKing to the future” is the title of the new edition, taking place at the Padiglione delle Ghiaia of the Fortezza Da Basso.
Vintage Selection 45, the leading fair for vintage clothing, accessories, and design objects, will be held from Wednesday, January 21st to Friday, January 23rd, 2026, at the Padiglione delle Ghiaia in the Fortezza da Basso. Now widely recognized as one of the most authoritative and prestigious events in the vintage world in both Italy and Europe, the fair targets a highly qualified audience, always attentive to research and innovation.
Once again this edition, Vintage Selection reaffirms its close connection with Pitti Filati, the event organized by Pitti Immagine at the Fortezza da Basso that showcases international excellence in yarn production to an audience of top buyers, designers from leading fashion houses, creatives, and fashion professionals from around the world.
Vintage Selection 45 will be held inside the Padiglione delle Ghiaia at Fortezza da Basso — a strategic location right at the start of the Pitti Filati itinerary — and will follow the same opening hours as the main show: from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the first two days (Wednesday, January 21st and Thursday, January 22nd), and from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the final day (Friday, January 23rd). As in the previous summer edition. Vintage Selection 45 will be open exclusively to Pitti Filati buyers, who are required to pass through the Padiglione delle Ghiaia for registration and access to Pitti Filati.
LINKing to the future is the theme of Vintage Selection 45, inspired by the Spazio Ricerca concept developed by Pitti Immagine, and will be reflected in the event’s exhibition design. Link, the main theme of the new Research Space, is a fluid journey through the history of signs and ink which, as a primordial art form, has survived to the present day and is projected into the future.
